Description

Boo Bash is an indoor Halloween event for the community, where children not only receive candy, but valuable information from community partners. Organization participation varies year to year. Children are engaged at each organization table, plus receive coveted candy. Boo Bash is wonderful and provides trick or treating without being in the weather. Also offers a safe, centrally location for trick or treating. We spend approximately $30 on advertising and an additional $150 on candy, beverages, and food. Boo Bash has been widely received with 313 children and 256 adults in attendance in 2016. Program is easily replicated and takes approximately 3 months of planning. Boo Bash supports social and civic literacy. A community that is aware of their local organizations has greater connections and enriched lives.
